WaterPLAY
Selected for the 2017 outdoor exhibition, Mini Golf at the IMA, WaterPLAY celebrated Indiana’s wetlands and was designed to evoke the movement of water. It was an immersive three-dimensional experience with an undulating playing surface and a screen of interactive cattails. It presented challenges with its non-rectilinear layout and natural obstacles of fish and rocks. The hole was hidden beneath a beaver lodge tower. (Par 4)
Mini Golf at the IMA blended art, architecture and family fun into a playful 18-hole mini golf course set within the Indianapolis Museum of Art’s campus. The theme of the 2017 course was the natural world.
